Rebecca & James were married at St Mildred's Church at Whippingham and then went onto Osbourne House for the reception.
The day started with Lucinda my 2nd photographer and myself going to The Crossways B&B at East Cowes where Rebecca was getting ready, here we had a small wait whilst Rebecca was being pampered.
Mum on the far right and Grandmother.
As rebecca did not want any makeup and hair images we started off with a fully made up and dressed bride who looked absolutely stunning.
Rebecca and Beth
All to soon it was time to head off to the church where we found James looking tensive but excited
Rebecca arrived with her brother who walked her down the aisle and gave her away
I even persuaded him to give his sister a kiss for luck, Rebecca could not remember the last time that he had kissed her......
An quick repair was required before going into the church!
Then it was off to the beautiful service, I really do like St Mildreds it has a quality that few other churchs have on the Island.
Two very emotional readings during the service
When we went out for the confetti the happy couple were blessed with a ray of sunshine ( shock )
I could not resist being a little corny with the above image, but you must admit surprise at seeing sun this year...
James wanted some shots from the back of the church and they were well worth the time taken to get them.
Then I asked James and Rebecca to walk in front of the Alm's Houses opposite the church, I have always wanted to photograph a couple there even though the signs say private :-)
Osbourne House, a stunning venue that I always love to shoot at, unfortunately we were short on time being so early in the year before it was dark so it had to be a very quick selection of shots before the wedding breakfast.
All sorts of lens issues with this image where I had to shoot at 24mm otherwise the garden ruins the shot.
On the home run now as we head indoors for the final few images.
Stunning cupcakes and sweeties
The speeches were amusing as Rebecca found out.....
Shall we do it now!
And the final images of the first dance
Thank you Rebecca and James for letting me part of you special day, you had it all, wonderful sunshine, all your friends and family BUT most of all your love for each other......
Once they are back from the honeymoon I will post up the main gallery for you all to see.
